Todays recipe is an great idea from mama Dawn! I use the recipe often but will sometimes use egg whites with turkey bacon for a little bit of a healthier sandwich.
Momma Dawn's Easy Egg ,cheese, and pork muffins: I cooked them in a batch of 20 For this I needed 20 Eggs 20 English muffins 20 slices of cheese (any cheese will do) I only made half of them with pork roll,so I used 10 pcs of Taylor pork roll I toasted all the English muffins then added just a half of a teaspoon of mayo to the muffin. If you don't like mayo just omit it.Then I cooked a batch of eggs, I liked them with the yolks just a little runny (you can make them any way you like) Then added a pc of cheese to the top after they were cooked, just until the cheese melted then took it off the burner.I cooked the pork roll in the microwave while the eggs were cooking that only takes 1 min. Then I assembled the muffin sandwich, wrapped them up in tin foil, and placed them all in a gallon size baggie, and tossed them in the freezer, I have breakfast for the next 20 days. To heat, I can just pop them in my toaster oven about 10 min, or regular oven for 10 min (some ovens may take longer or shorter, depending on elevation) Or you can take them out of the foil wrap them in a paper towel and put them in the microwave for about 2 minutes, However they do tend to get a little rubbery cooking them that way. Anyway I hope you enjoy this recipe..

It doesn't matter if it's thanksgiving leftovers, or you are packing dinners for work. Dinner in a jar is a fabulous way to store leftovers, and it's also a great way to send guests home with some of your delicious cooking home with them for a little midnight snack. In the photo we've layered gravy, turkey, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole and then topped it off with some cranberry sauce in a cupcake wrapper for easy removal. Imagine some beef gravy, with beef tips, mashed potatoes, and carrots, or even some cream of chicken soup, mixed veggies, and a biscuit for a quick pot pie. The possibilities are endless, and when it's time to eat, just pour it out on a plate and place it in the microwave for a few minutes. This also save time, as you can simply make more servings of a typical dinner meal, then save it in jars for your week day lunch/dinner. Here's a hint. There are no potatoes in this baby! But you'd never know. You won't even miss the potatoes when you try this amazing recipe. 1 Large head of Cauliflower 5 chopped hard boiled eggs 2 stalks of celery 1 small onion or 1/2 of a large 1/2 cup green peas (I used frozen) 1/2 cup Low Fat Mayonnaise (I used Hellmann's) 1/4 cup regular mayo (I used Hellmann's) 1/4 cup light sour cream (I used Daisy) Mrs. Dash seasoning (You are more then welcome to use any spices you like) Cut up cauliflower and boil till "Al Dente" I actually put the cauliflower in with the cold water when I turned it on so you don't have to wait for the water to boil first. After it came to a boil I cooked it for approx 15 minutes. Pour into a colander and rinse with cold water. While that is cooling chop your celery into small pieces. Shell your boiled eggs and chop into somewhat small pieces the same goes with your onion. Add this all into a bowl and add your drained cauliflower. You may want to chop some of your cauliflower if it is in large pieces as you want small almost nugget size pieces. Now add your peas, mayo, sour cream & Mrs. Dash seasoning. Mix all together and refrigerate for at least an hour as it is best served cold. Enjoy! This will become your favorite too! This is by far my FAVORITE Mason Jar Salad!! I've had 5 at a time in my fridge and had one every day for lunch. It's a great summer meal since it's cool and refreshing. And the honey mustard dressing tastes amazing with the hard boiled egg. I really wish I had one right now...

Its day one of our A-Z Blogging challenge, and we are gonna start with dessert! This was one of the easiest recipes I've made, and it turned out amazing.
There are only 3 ingredients! A can of crescent rolls, a can of apple pie filling and a tsp of cinnamon. That's it! Now to make this magic happen: I used an 8 x 8 glass baking dish. Sprayed it with Pam cooking spray..(I spray everything makes it easier for clean up) Get your package of crescent rolls open and don't unfold it but cut them into 12 pieces then lay them flat and cut in half so now you have 24 pieces. Roll them into balls and place in the dish. Now add the entire can of apples. I believe it was 21 oz. Now add your tsp of cinnamon. Mix..Put in oven for 30 minutes on 350. Stay tuned for our featured B Recipe tomorrow! |
